SPIN aims to
provide ongoing education, information and support to primary health
care practitioners engaged in the management of people experiencing
problems with substance use.
SPIN is run in two
streams:
Special Interest Network (SPIN) SPIN meets
monthly and provides a valuable interface among a broad mix of
health professionals from the drug and alcohol field. Topics and
speakers reflect the interests and needs of the group.SPIN members
include GPs, pharmacists, nurses, counsellors, psychologists and

SPIN Journal Club SPIN Journal Club meets
every second month and provides the opportunity for discussion of
new developments and research in the drug and alcohol field. Click
