Activities include: Special Interest Network (SPIN), SPIN Journal
Club, Pharmacotherapy Training Program for Opioid Dependence
(PTPOD), Cultural and Linguistic Diversity Framework (CLD
Framework) as well as:
Mentoring Program for GPs
Mentoring is available to GPs wishing
to increase their confidence and competence in managing drug and
alcohol patients and/or wishing to undertake training in methadone
and other alternative pharmacotherapies.
Program for Medical
Students
Final year students from Monash
University undertaking their psychiatry rotation at the Alfred
Hospital and Monash Medical Centre participate in a drug and alcohol
training program at the clinic.
