To be referred to the
clinic you need to be on, or interested in starting
on, methadone or buprenorphine, live in the southern
metropolitan region of Melbourne and:
- Be at risk of overdose and/or other
medical problems and would benefit from specialist support in
reducing your substance use;
AND/OR
- Have problems that are causing
difficulties for your existing prescriber and/or pharmacist;
AND/OR
- Have co-existing medical and/or
psychiatric issues requiring specialist care;
AND/OR
- Have other social problems and require help in stabilising
your life.
